About Sylvia
Just Piano was opened in 2012 by Sylvia McCullough, who studied music at the University of Ulster to Master’s level.
Sylvia has also completed the PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) course with SERC, enhancing her facilitation skills in teaching.
Sylvia’s early influences include classical and church music, and she was encouraged to learn the piano from an early age. Her study of music at Ulster University paved the way for the creation of the music studio.

More About Just Piano
Sylvia is a member of the Independent Society of Musicians. Working in the private sector as a piano tutor gives her an opportunity to exchange ideas, share common interests and voice concerns in all things music.
It is Sylvia’s personal belief that music instruction and experience could be key in early education. Learning piano is a focused study, with learners acquiring attitudes and disciplines which will help them in other areas of study.
